The South East Europe Green EPC & Infrastructure Conference will take place in Constanța, Romania, as part of its second edition. The event is scheduled for two days and will bring together government authorities, top executives, and companies focused on large-scale infrastructure upgrades, energy innovation, and cross-border cooperation. Around 35 high-level speakers from Romania, Moldova, Bulgaria, Greece, North Macedonia, and Albania are expected to participate.
Long-term strategy and institutional support
This edition emphasizes long-term strategy and institutional support for strengthening the business ecosystem during a challenging geopolitical and economic period. Discussions are set to address public–private partnerships and efforts to boost foreign investment. Another focus is the role of the Port of Constanța in regional logistics.
All sessions will be held inside the Constanța Casino, described as a historic landmark associated with the city’s cultural identity, economic transformation, and ongoing reconstruction.
Constanța as a logistics and transit hub
The conference location reflects Constanța’s expanding role in Europe’s evolving infrastructure map. Romania is positioning itself as an essential transit and logistics hub as new transport corridors emerge toward Ukraine and beyond. The port’s growing strategic importance is linked to major infrastructure modernization plans.
These elements are presented as a basis for examining investment and development opportunities across the wider region.
Programme focus: transport projects and renewable energy
The first day will concentrate on road, rail, and maritime transport. It will bring together representatives from local and central institutions, construction companies, logistics operators, and international investors working on opportunities in Romania.
The second day will focus on renewables, green technologies, and EPC contracting models. Inter-regional energy connectivity is identified as a core topic, with cross-border collaboration highlighted in relation to energy business development across Southeast Europe.
Participation and partner organizations
The conference is expected to attract around 400 participants, including investors, company leaders, and technical experts from across the region.
Partners listed for this year include PATRES (Renewable Energy Producers of Romania), CAIR (Confederation of Entrepreneurs and Investors), PSC (Employers’ Association of Construction Companies), UNTRR (National Union of Road Hauliers), BRCC (British Romanian Chamber of Commerce), and ACUE (Federation of Energy Utility Associations).
